The format of the T20 World Cup 2024 is as follows:
- Group Stage: The 20 teams are divided into five groups of four teams each. Each team plays against the other three teams in their group. The top two teams from each group progress to the Super Eight stage.
- Super Eight Stage: The eight teams that qualify from the group stage are divided into two groups of four. Each team plays against the other three teams in their group. The top two teams from each group progress to the knockout stage.
- Knockout Stage: The four teams that qualify from the Super Eight stage play in a single-elimination tournament, culminating in the final.
